Forward Arkansas Adds Former Educator to Statewide Programming Team

Forward Arkansas announced today the expansion of its statewide team with the appointment of Meghan Thompson as program manager. Thompson brings more than 12 years of experience in education.

"As an Arkansas native and second-generation educator, Meghan brings extensive experience as a K-12 teacher and school administrator," said Ben Kutylo, executive director of Forward Arkansas. "Her skill set and experience will be instrumental in advancing our work and enabling us to provide support to districts, schools and communities that address their unique needs."

Before joining Forward, Thompson worked at eStem Public Charter Schools, where she advanced from a secondary science teacher to the assistant director of academic and student achievement. In this role, she oversaw the school system’s intervention services, parental involvement, curriculum coaching, standardized testing, PLC model implementation and virtual learning. Thompson graduated from the Schedler Honors College at the University of Central Arkansas, where she earned her master’s in teaching and bachelor's in biology.
